In November 2025, The Asahi Shimbun Middle East Holdings organized and supported the participation of multiple Japanese food manufacturers at ADIFE (Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition), one of the largest B2B food trade shows in the Middle East. Participating companies introduced their products through tastings and informal exchanges with local and international stakeholders. These interactions fostered mutual understanding of market conditions and consumer needs, laying the foundation for future business negotiations in the UAE and neighboring regions.
As a newly launched international food exhibition in Abu Dhabi, ADIFE had seen minimal participation from Japanese companies. This project therefore required a pioneering approach to establish visibility and relevance for Japanese food brands in the market.
The initiative aimed to introduce several high-quality Japanese food brands that had not yet entered the Middle East, clearly communicating their value, craftsmanship, and unique positioning to a region demonstrating strong and growing demand for premium and differentiated food products.
In addition to engaging stakeholders in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE, participating companies sought to connect with organizations and businesses attending ADIFE from the broad Middle East and other global regions, fostering dialogue, exchanging market perspectives, and exploring new business opportunities.
